Just posted a slide show below of some fun purse cards I did awhile back. Great way to use up that last little bit of trim or that one left over charms. I used a stamp from "Too Much Fun".* I have a few of them left for resale if any one is interested. I can give you the details just drop me a line at BloominIdeasMI@aol.com.
*The owner of Too much fun stamps currently has a copyright on her stamps. So were I can sell them. (I have my own in home resale business and taught a class on how to use them) I can't post them on the internet. I can do something through personal e-mail and do a transaction through pay pal.

Free Darling Dress Template
This free pattern was in the Stamping & Company Magazine the Stampers' Sampler June/July 2006 issue. Or that's when the submitted card for the challenge we published. Anyway I have not particapated in their challenges for some time. I enjoyed playing with this pattern very much and I made several samples but because they didn't have any stamping on them I did not submitt them. Perhaps I'll find them and scan them for a future post and share them with you on this blog.
Udate: Added Photo of the Dress cards for Patti G.

Mistakes I've Made A Few
1. Due to my bad spelling ways and no spell check in the comment sections, lack of sleep, being hurried.... I would like to apologise for my misspellings bad grammar etc.
2. If you make the mistake of commenting more than once I will simply delete the duplicated comments. I think I have done the same thing of not being sure if my comment had gone through or not.

Click the logo on my side bar or on the title of this blog if you want to know more about this event.
The Art Box stands aprrox. 9" high with the bird. There is a sweet little girl inside as you can see surrounded by nature & dried flowers. The glass vile holds a message...Smile.
This is one of the creative projects that Deb and I do when we get together on our Artistic Fridays. They usually end up similar yet different. If you want you can check her blog out at "It's All Good" on my side bar. Debra is also participating in the OWOH blog give away.
"The original idea behind this giveaway event was to bring bloggers together from around the world who may never ordinarily meet. It closes the gap of the blog community and enables us to interact, discover new and wonderful people, and in the process possibly win a prize or many prizes along the way...This is more than wanting to win something.......that is only the means.......in the end it's about finding kindred spirits. Someone who may be fairly new to blogging, not sure how to navigate, find others and have others find them....Some are long time bloggers and in some cases well known in the art community. Whatever the case it brings all of them together...We are not solving the worlds problems nor are we curing anything nor are we changing the world. We are merely generating a closer community between humans through blogging."
For all the winners that participated in this years One World One Heart blog giveaway and to those of you who stop by my giveaway I'd like to say a big
Thank You.
But now I do have the one who will be receiving my Art box and it is Jamie @ Art-e-ology.
Congratulations Jamie!

To Change Or Not To Change
So Since Nance and Deb have changed their blog templates.... They both look great and reflect their personal tastes more than the standard templates do. I thought I would give it a try. And I did.... twice. Only to come back to this one. I discovered what I like about it for me is that it is bright, has greens in it and even though it is contemporary. I like how the photos and art look against it.
What I don't like is the small space for the heading and the three dots (mostly that yellow dot) at the top. If I could find something that gives me a similar feel, I'll change it.

Some Old Paintings of Mine
These two paintings were done in my junior and senior year of high school. The Blue Girl shown here was done with acrylics and was done on my first hand stretched canvas. So once upon a time I knew how to do that. And have not done one since. I also did a water color version of her and submitted it for one of my assignments at the skill center that I was attending for commercial art. A lady was walking by the class room and wanted it so. I did another for her and sold it for $20.00. My first commissioned art piece. I guess you could say this was blue period.
The other one of the little girl in the field of dandelions....I did in oils on a prestreched canvas. I love working in that medium but find I tend to be too impatient with the drying time. I had a habit of giving away my art. So I no longer posses either of these pieces. Only these really bad photos of them.

CD Clock
I finally finished my CD clock. Well, at least to the point that it works. I bought hands that were too big so I added a mat board circle to it and now it works fine. It was liked so much I ended up teaching it as a class last December. Now I can add more things if I want to like glitter, buttons, rhinestones or what ever else I feel like.
