And Away It Goes!
Now we have to decide if we want to cut the rest of it down or hat rack it. If we get another severe storm it more than likely will fall in the direction of our neighbors house. And that would not be good. We just love this tree even though it can be messy.

A beautiful tree and a tough decision!
We used to have a huge willow in our older home. They are scary during the "ice storms" because they can crack in an instant. Sometimes you just have to let go. Sorry it had to be cut down considering it must have given you a huge shaded space in the summer. Take care, Nance

Wow! And I know how expensive it is to pull a tree down. I had a huge dead tree that was 3/4 on my property, and before I moved in, the previous owners fought over who should pay. I moved in and had it taken out -- sure didn't want to have it hit either of our houses!
That is ONE ENORMOUS TREE! Amazing how they can grow!

You are loving woman. Cares for the nature and every thing around you.. But if it is a real threat to your neighbour...then I think better to do something, like cutting it down.(and Nice pictures...)
That looks like a weeping willow tree. I love those! We used to have a really big one in the yard when I was growing up. They are just so beautiful! I hope you don't have to cut it all down. xo Paulette
