Architectural wonders served as this months inspiration.
I just want to put it out there,
I feel like I cheated this month using
pre-made items.
Having said that I really like the lantern chain.
I think that is what they call it.
Yep that's what they call it just checked today 5/7/15
It mimics the structural detail really well.
I so wanted to do the Herringbone wire wrap.
So glad Erin did a pair that way.
I was inspired to do the same
I just didn't make the time to do it.
So I used these pre-made bead cages.
Instead.
My time has been used up setting up for a
Jewelry open house that I am having
Today. Tomorrow and Sunday.
Thanks for another terrific Challenge.

They are both gorgeous - I can see the inspiration in them!
I do love the texture, color and shapes of your first pair, both pairs are gorgeous though!
Great use of materials. Lovely result.
Love the earrings! So delicate and unique. You've done a wonderful job with the challenge.
These are lovely. And, no, there's no need to feel like you cheated.
You captured the inspiration pieces in your earrings! Lovely creations!
You didn't cheat, you made great use of the time and materials you had and they look great! Good luck on your open house!
I hope you have a fabulous open house celebrating your jewelry creations. Exciting! You really captured the color and shapes of the buildings. The lantern chain is lovely, and the bead cages are "eye-like." Cool earrings!
Still a great interpretation of the challenge!
I don't think I would feel bad about using pre-made components at all! I do that all the time. I have never heard of lantern chain. It is quite striking, and looks like it would be fun to work with. Those caged beads are perfect for mimicking the shape of that building. Thanks for finding the time to jump in with us. Congrats on your open house success! Enjoy the day! Erin
