Feuilles 1928
By Seraphine Louis
This painting of leaves by Seraphine
served for this months
Art Bead Scene challenge.
I went a head and rented
this critically acclaimed movie
"Seraphine"
Invited Katherine T. who also like to participate
in the ABS challenges to watch it with me.
My favorite part of the movie was
how they portrayed her success.
In a way it reminded me of Shirley temple
in the Little Princess.
Also when they showed her collecting
pigments from various sources.
Something we are told she did not reveal.
So if that part in the movie of her collecting wax
wasn't fictionalized...
We may know why these paintings
have a waxy look to them.
For more information about the
artist you can check out this link. to the ABS post.
I snagged this Bracelet connector by Susi Q Beads
when I saw it on
one of the ABS posts on Etsy finds.
I love to make bracelets.
So I went for it!
Added a few Gaea beads and Vintaj leaves.
Along with some misc. beads and findings.

I love this bracelet it came out soooo pretty. Pinks and corals so summery, and so feminine. Thanks for sharing.
Thank You Gloria, I appreciate your comment very much!
I love your bracelet. The colors are wonderful.
Terri this is a lovely bracelet. The bracelet bar very nicely hints at a leaf without being only about a leaf.
This is so special. You could wear it six days a week and never get tired of it.
Thank You all so much for those sweet comments. I really do appreciate them. Hope you are having a great week so far!
