Dream in Color

Dorothy and I made a ribbon flowers yesterday. After we had them assembled we could see that the centers needed something. She got out a box of miscellaneous jewelry bits where we found the perfect centers for our flowers. They were just the right pieces of bling. Thanks Dorothy. We had too much fun making these little cuties.

Today it was a slow morning getting started so I thought I'd make a digital something. I blocked off an hours worth of time. Since I had a bridal shower to go to in a few hours and I needed time to get ready for that. So I scanned the ribbon flower I made yesterday into my computer and cleared off the bacground. Now they are her earrings in this digital collage. Other digital collage images are from Art-e-ology and Itkupilli.
I didn't have my glasses on and I see I have to go make and clean up the image.

Beautiful work, Terri. As a person who dabbles mainly in digital, I am in awe of people who actually use their hands and their brains to produce such stunning little works of art. My family will no longer even allow me to wrap presents because I make them look like a doggie's dinner (so they say). Still, I can dream that one day I might take a running jump away from the keyboard and mouse and actually do something. People like you inspire me to do just that!

That ribbon flower is gorgeous - love the bling in the middle... it gives it a very vintage feel.

I just love your ribbon flower, and I think your digital work is awesome. I think we are too critical of our own work sometimes, I know I am :)
