This Sky Portal in New Zealand
served as the inspiration for this months
Pretty Pallets Challenge.
How I want to go there and see it for myself!
So Beautiful!
Since I can't right now...it was off to Michael's
I went.
I found the last two of these green glass faceted rondels.
A plan was forming in my head to use them
for the little bits of sparkle in my piece.
(MSKU - 10321944)
Knowing that I have a stash of greenish beads
at home...
I paired them up with theses yellow turquoise beads
to surround...
... this lone Czech pink/purple barrel bead...
A perfect time to use it.
As well some other misc. gemstones and glass beads.
Including that Dragon Blood Jasper pendant.
A gift from my Mom's friend Kay.
Almost missed the reveal

You are never too late! (I keep the InLinkz open for one week). I love the deep mossy greens you selected. That one little pop of pink gives it attention and sets it up to add visual interest. I love what you did and happy that you could participate! Watch for the next inspiration on March 4th for the Halcraft Pretty Palettes. Enjoy the day. Erin
Great Job! Lovely pinky purpley addition of the barrel bead, it makes the pendant POP! Nice earrings! (I always forget to make matching earrings.)
What a wonderful matching set! I like how the toggle becomes a part of the focal and how the dragon's blood jasper has such a dramatic presence. I remember being a kid who was obsessed with rocks and mythology and I had heard of dragon's blood, but never actually saw it. (This is pre-internet times.) And I would ask people on the sly, like it was some big secret, if they had ever seen dragon's blood. :-) Great job and thank you for bring back that memory!
Very pretty .I love how you used the colors of inspiration piece in your necklace you captured all the colors .
