Creative Friday

Well most of you know blogger ran into a big
snag doing some maintenance.
I have lost some of my comments on the
two previous post.
But at least the posts are back up.
So on to this post....
Played with the new
Tim Holtz Artful dwelling Sizzix die.
I was in a "grungy" mood.
And I wanted to use some of his
Idea-ology embellishments and papers.
Plus my odds and ends.
Deb was in a Shabby Chic Mood.
You have to stop by and see what she
created using these house shapes.
Adorable!
And then for our second project we did a tag.
Using Banner dies that we had
and the Tim Holtz Tag die.
Misc. trims, lace sequins and flowers.
It says," It takes a long time to grow
an old friend."
Thanks for stopping by and looking.

The blogger maintenance was a sad thing. I too lost the comment by you in my previous post. And I can see my comments to your previous posts too are lost. So I am going to write them again,Because they deserve it, though with a slight change of words, sometimes.

Sorry, I forgot to tell you,Tia, I loved that work. Beautifully done. I loved the house model especially. The little girls too are cute.
hugs,
ANU

This is so cute! I'd love to make something like this for my friends. Have you ever thought of using scented papers for them or does the fragrance cause staining?

Thanks so much, Ren. Try whatever scent you are thinking of using and see it it evaporates with out leaving and water marks. It is a fantastic idea! With so many of my friends sensitive to smells these days. I currently don't scent my projects. I used to when I made handmade cards for my boy friends back in the day. It really can add a nice touch. Thanks so much for visiting and leaving such nice comments!
