Earrings Everyday ~ August Challenge

These stunning photos of Antelope Canyon
served as this months inspiration.
For more details click here.
USA Antelope-Canyon.jpg
I tried to capture the striation of the
Canyon walls and their free form shape
by the beads I selected for this challenge.
What to do with that noticeable break in the
metal loop add a bit of wire wrapping.
Puffed rectangle Tiger skin glass and
Faceted Czech Rondelles.

Next I used....Striated Czech glass beads
 and gun metal findings.

Pretty bead choices and earrings. Your fix of the break in the loop added an interesting design element. Guess that break was meant to be!

2 pretty pairs of earrings! I think fixing the gap on the hoops has added your own stamp to the design and they are more interesting now. One of those happy accidents! xx

Gorgeous earrings! I love the beauty of the natural stones. They really do showcase the inspiration perfectly. I think your idea of filling in the gap in those links with wire is fabulous. That sort of detail is what sets you apart from those that are just dabbling and creating earrings. Details like that can elevate your work! Thank you for participating in the Earrings Everyday We're All Ears challenge. Check back on the blog on September 4th for the next inspiration! Enjoy the day! Erin

Beautiful stones to make beautiful earrings and the combination with silver reflects the light/dark contrast.

Beautiful! I love what you did to the first pair with the wire. Unique way to fix it. The colors are very beautiful, definitely imulate the canyon pictures.

Lovely earrings. I think your wire wraps to camouflage the breaks in the wire hoops was brilliant. It's a great accent to the design, and functional at the same time.

Beautiful pairs! The beads' swirls match the swirls in the picture. Wonderful job!

The beads you selected do a great job of honouring the sandstone in the inspiration photos. Love how everything came together.
