Art Jewelry Buried Treasure Challenge .
What a great way to use our treasured stash.

I have a couple things I've been wanting to 

put together.

I dug up a House themed Pendant
 By Gaea and a link by Green Girl.

I adore these pieces and until recently had not

 thought of pairing them up together.

Grabbed some Silk Ribbon, Czech flower beads, 

 a lovely Jade flower and vintage lucite jade color bead,

 and some faceted rose quartz beads and paired it with 

Gunmetal chain.

The back of the Green Girl link says,

 "Love is the Key"Isn't that the truth.

An Unexpected Gift.

Last December I participated in the 

Earrings Everyday
Leftovers Challenge.

I'm loving the challenges of all sorts.

They help me get motivated to use what I have.

That month there was a bonus

A gift from Erin of Tesori Trovati.

Well, like so many of us life got in the way for Erin
and ..in Erin's words
"She dropped the ball."
But instead of selecting one winner she
gifted all 6 who had participated.
So very Generous!

Pretty Palettes ~ January '16

I was thrilled with this month's
Pretty Palettes Challenge.

Very Serendipity because...
I had been Pinning Snowflake photos
on Pinterest.
  
 

And I have a good stash of Crystals.
Some halcraft and some from other sources.
A perfect time to use them in this challenge.

The Sliders with AB Crystals were a gift.
 I do believe they are from Bliss found at JoAnn's.
Unfortunately I have since thrown away the tag.

The Snow flake Pendant is from Jolee's
also a gift.
The Links are from Melissa Francis.

Lantern chain and cord ends also a gift
 but you can find those on Fire Mountain.

I wanted to use the Snowflake crystals but
the one seemed too big and the other too small.
But in my mind's eye I can see liking them better
 than the Jolee's Pendant.
Who Knows I still may change it.

What a terrific card challenge and 

I was able to use some left over scraps

 from another project. Yeah!

(old) DCWV paper.

Sheer pink ribbon, Pearl and

 Rhinestone accents.

This is what I came up with using this layout for inspiration.

Items I used:

 Sizzix Snowflake embossing folder, 

Spellbinder various dies, 

Greeting Farm and Verve stamps,

pink foil, glitter stack papers, 

Tim Holtz and SU! papers.

Not your typical colors for snowflakes.

But if they had winter in Florida

 it might loo like this.

Will be sending this to my Parents in Florida.

What it's the 3rd friday of the month ? Already!

Wow.

The new Pantone colors for the year 

was this Month's Challenge.

They sure are soft and pretty.

Like Erin, I stuck with the Pinks and Blues.

 Fresh Water Pearl and Pink Opal

Make the beads the project will come.

I did not have on hand someone else's
Art bead that I felt would fit
 this months challenge.

But as it turned out I had made some
 Polymere Clay toggles last year.

I had them in my etsy shop but I did not post this
Blue one along with some matching beads.

This is a great time to use it.

For the Sparkle of the Starry Sky

I added a  Crystals.
Then I added mix of Vintage Lucite Beads,
Seed Beads, Silver Plated Findings
and a "Destiny" Link

The End of 2015 to 2016

has brought me to a few new to me discoveries.

One - Verve Stamps 

Two - these Card Challenges

over at Mojo Monday.

 Mine is a double challenge for me since this is

 my least favorite of  Greens 

and since I am not one to throw 

perfectly good card stock away...

I needed to see what I might come up with.

I ended up pairing it with Prima coffee paper. 

Used one of my Anya Greeting Farm stamps,

Pulled out the copic markers to color her. 

Grabbed a Martha Stewart branch punch,

Marianne Designs flower punches, Spellbinder die, 

and my newly acquired

 Verve coffee themed stamp and dies.

Added few embellishments and glitter to finish it off.

I've enjoyed card making for years.

And challenges like this ...well,

they are just fun!
