So I asked KeKe if she would like to do a private swap. The above picture is what I received in the mail today. The tag is dimensional and lovely. The cherry card, the mad tea party post card, the teas everything was packaged so lovely even the envelope. Thank You KeKe for going the extra mile.
Sometimes you don't know what you may get with swaps. Some times your elated and sometimes you are deflated. So deeply disappointed one may never want to do a swap again. If everyone would put this much effort into it... it would continue to be a joy.

Wow it look as though KeKe was truly happy to have been able to participate on some level in the swap. It just goes to show that if you really want to do something, even on short notice, you can do it well. I wholeheartedly agree with you regarding the elation or deflation these swaps can be. Lately I have been discouraged by the lack of "effort" on the part of some swappers. Even with enough time they cut corners. I often wonder if they do not care or are not consciously aware when they send out their work that they have not given their best effort. I have seen this kind of thing kill off swaps at local craft stores, and soon if left unchecked I predict it may happen here.
I am still waiting the White Rabbit tag from your Alice swap, which was to be mailed by the 5th of Oct., and as you know blowing off deadlines is a big pet peeve with me.
I am so glad this private swap went so well for you. I love your Cheshire Cat tag (which is my favorite one), and appreciate the time, thought, and effort you put into your work. I was happy to participate in your swap, and I know KeKe was too!
Thanks Deb...I'll see what I can do to find out about the white rabbit.
Love the Special Edition tag. Thanks for dropping by.
Great swap gifts Terri, can't wait for ours to arrive sometime this coming week :)
I love private bead swaps. The best swap I ever did was a private swap with a friend -- I felt like Christmas AND my birthday had come when she sent her box, and I ended up sending her another small box afterwards because she was so generous. I truly loved doing it, and it gave me a HUGE jump start to my stalled creativity.
