A Place For Stickers

Is there a place for stickers in our Altered art? I have to admit I'm not a big fan of stickers. But I do like the metalic ones as accents. Here is a sneak peak of a project I'm working on for the Mad Tea Party mail art group. I don't want to give it totally away for my PIF partner. (who is yet to be determined.) But what I do like is how the gold stickers I selected to use on this tea cup and saucer look as if they belong. So maybe some stickers do have a place after all.

LOL. I know what you mean about stickers, but I think it depends on the style. Swirls, flourishes and 'random shapes are acceptable, but cute dogs, and bears, golfers etc wont do lol. I added swirls on a page in my altered book. I covered the page with adhesive backes foil then rubbed over it with a thick paper stump which gave a nice effect. So thats my view ha ha. Love keeping up with your projects.

Hi Terri, sorry it's taken me so long to get over here again.
I am not fond of stickers either but some of them now are really good, and I looked at the close up of your beautiful teacup, you can barely tell they are stickers, wow.....

Wow Terri, I never would have known that those were stickers if you hadn't told us! When someone says stickers, these lovely ones are not what come into my mind if you know what I mean. :) These are really very pretty!
