(mine are the 2 in natural light)
I neglected to pictures of the rest.
But Kashmira sent the ones that she took to me.
Birds of nature earrings
Wire wrapped floral earrings.
Made with silk and aged copper.
I did take these in natural lighting
And a few bonus items

Bohemian style bracelet and earrings
Key chain.
Photo taken and shared by Kashmira.

Swap with Kashmira

My Bead Soup Swap partner, Sarah led to Link
Challenge with Peggy that led to
Kashmira and my paths crossing.
Check out a few of these coincidences between
Kashmira and my self.
1) My blog and business is called Blooming Ideas.
Her blog /store is called Sadafulee...always in bloom.
2) We both have had (currently in stores) and are going to
have (winter issue) a pair of earrings
published in
Jewelry Stringing Magazine.
Which got me to thinking...
since both of our blogs themes are related to flowers
and we both are having a pair of earrings
being published.
Why not celebrate by doing  an earring swap!
With one pair having a floral theme.
The other what ever we wanted to do.
Kashmira likes the bohemian look.
So I attempted doing that style for her.
I neglected to photos of mine before I sent them.
Well I did of one but totally forgot to
on the other items I sent.
She's going to take photos of them and share them with me.
I'll have to put those in another post.
Such a fun swap!
The earrings she made for me are just wonderful!
Thank You So Much
Kashmira!!!

Cigar Box Purse

I recently decided to participate in an
Altered cigar box swap over at
Creating a Craft Life ning site.
My Swap Partner was Leslie.
The color theme was Lavender and Cream.
We were to stuff the box with laces and trims.
This is what I created for Leslie.
She likes shabby chic.
I  just hope she likes what I created for her.
The piece of ephemera says Spring Opening.
Which I thought was perfect for this month of May
Spring swap.
Love this illustrated image of the lady!
Decided to add a beaded dangle charm
from the handle.

And then tied on a bow with
sheer cream ribbon.
The back or bottom (depending how she stores it)
was left smooth.
I found this pretty lavender and cream paper at Joann's.
As well as the faux pearl handle.
And then I made this little
Thank You for being my swap partner card
from the left overs that I didn't use on the box.
Hope she likes it!
And thanks for stopping by.

Fun with Flowers

Made this for a
Pin swap over at Creating a Crafty Life.
I chose to make this simple lace flower
to display a set of stick pins in.
Added a rhinestone center and metal flower.
This leaves it alterable for the ladies when they receive it
to change the color of the lace flower
to any that they wish.
 This ribbon flower
was created for a flower swap over at LSH.
Theme Summer. Since it is now late summer
I went with these colors.
Tips to make these can be found on You Tube.
Simple, simple, simple.

Charm Swap

I personalized all 8 of the Charms with the ladies first initial.
For Cindy's January Charm Swap.
Displayed them on a mat board die shape.
So they can reuse for a future project.
Hand stamped some designs
I went with a funky whimsical theme.
I hope the ladies will like them.

Winter vs Summer Charm Swap

I'm  hosting a Charm swap over at  My Scrap Room . These are the type of charms you add to a mini scrapbook. So they are usually longer than usual.  The ladies that joined will be getting a bonus set from me. Thanks for looking. (sign ups are now closed)

More Altered Hearts

So I made an extra set of the
Altered Hearts I swapped with Caroline
I had the hardest time photographing this one.
They turned out almost the same except I used a different
7 Gypsies charm on the bottom of each of the hearts.
This was done in pink in honor of
Breast Cancer Awareness.
Thanks for Looking!

The Alice Tags from My Swap...

Are arriving! Our deadline was Oct 5th. Most of the tags have already arrived. Just waiting on one more tag for the collection to be complete. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to swap with swappers who are on time. With life and work and other commitments, I thought how nice to be able to give the ladies six weekends and five weeks to work on their Alice and Wonderland Charaters for their tags.
This is what they came up with.
Deborah's White Rabbit
Missy's Dutchess

Nancy's Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum
Terry's Dormouse
Elaine's Mad Hatter
Renee's Alice
Debra's Red Queen My Cheshire CatRebecca's Queen of HeartsBecky's Caterpillar
