Gothic Arch Callenge~ Shabby Chic

This weeks Gothic Arch Challenge is Shabby Chic...weathered, pale pastels, romance, and florals! I painted my arch to give it a bit of a weathered look with a pale pastel blue Dauber. Used a doily for a stencil and used a white dauber for that. Sprayed Tattered Angels iridescent gold. Stamped a Tim Holts flourish to the one side. I edged the arch with a silver metallic marker. Put silver decorative stickers around the edge. Stamped and cut out the saying then backed it with black paper. Popped up the dreamy image of the lady. Finished it off with rhinestones, flowers and pearls.

This is so lovely, and you have given the definition of shabby chic. I always get it confused with vintage! x

I can't seem to leave a comment on your blog. I think it is the playlist that has slowed up my attempts. Anyhow, your arch is gorgeous and I'm sorry everyone can't see that I agree with them all. Beautiful work.
